Would you like to extend your exposure on Google? To do so, we recommend that you create custom pages that feature the keywords you would like to see rank on Google.
Why? Because when Internet users query Google with their keywords, Google lists and directs them to the most relevant pages within a website. The more complete and thorough you are in providing information on your website, the better the outcome will be for you.
There are many reasons why you should create additional product/service specific pages on your website:
- You are providing visitors with thorough information about the service you provide, which allows them to make an informed decision on whether or not to make an enquiry with you.
- You are giving Google exactly what they are after – detailed information on a page that is specific to a particular service. By doing this, Google is more likely to list your page in their search results for relevant queries.
- Conversion rates greatly improve if users are directed to a page within a website that specifically discusses the topic they are seeking. If web page information is vague, visitors (potential customers) simply leave without making an enquiry.
Many of our clients choose to have a ‘Services’ or ‘Products’ page on their website. This page often lists their services/products in bullet-point form, sometimes with a brief description of each. From Google’s perspective, these pages are too broad for keyword ranking, as they cover too many topics and the all-important keywords are diluted.
If you would like to improve your business’ keyword ranking for specific products or services, we recommend that you create and link additional ‘keyword specific’ pages to each of the items listed on your Products and/or Services pages. It only takes a few minutes and it’s FREE!
By adding keyword specific pages to your website, you’ll not only be providing more information for visitors, you’ll also improve your site’s ‘visibility’ with search engines, which will in turn reward you with valuable website traffic!
